In My Mailbox is a posting idea run by Kristi at The Story Siren (read all about it here: In My Mailbox)
for bloggers to share the books they’ve gotten that
week to help publicize as many titles as possible. It’s a
little preview on what book reviews to anticipate along with
a way to build excitement about new titles coming out.
All titles link to goodreads so you can add books to your
“to-read” list.
I’m supposed to be on a book buying ban until after the Scholastic Warehouse Sale, IRA Convention, and ALA Convention; however, I really wanted to read both of these, and I’ve had students bugging me about the sequel and asking for more free verse, so I broke down and got them.

Love the cover to Love & Leftovers!
Awesome books this week 😀 Hope you enjoy reading them!
Here is my IMM Post 🙂

Love and Leftovers looks really cute and believe it or not, I STILL haven't read Clarity. I need to move it up higher on my TBR pile. I am so excited to find another middle school English teacher that blogs! I'm a new follower and can't wait to check out some of your reviews. Good luck with grading your research papers….I have a feeling I'll be doing it all day!
I think every book lover understands you, don't worry, at least you only got two books!
Happy Reading!

Is Clarity any good? Just trying to figure out if it's something I really need to read. I've seen it around, but it never really caught my interests. Great haul, and I understand the struggles of a book buying ban. Happy reading!

I liked Clarity quite a bit, it grabs you right from the start, and my students LOVE it – it's been passed from student to student since I first booktalked it and passed it on.
