One of my most anticipated books for the fall is Maggie Stiefvater’s new standalone novel (which she calls the most her book she’s written!) THE SCORPIO RACES. I'm waiting for the review on this one. I loved Lament and Ballad, Maggie;s Faerie books. I didn't love the Shiver series and didn't even bother with the last book. Based on the reviewers I read, I'm glad I didn't. I guess I kind of expected the ending Forever gave since the Faerie series ended the same way. Everything left open. One story just never finished. That's just not the type of ending I like. Sure, I can finish it in my own mind, but I want the writer to do that.
